Massive Mushroom ("we," "us," or "our") operates the MyAstralys mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains our data practices and how we protect your privacy. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the App.
Your personal data never leaves your device. We do not collect, store, or share your information on any server.
1. Information You Provide
To use MyAstralys, you may choose to enter the following information:
- Birth data — your birth date, time, and location, used to generate your natal chart and personalized forecasts.
- Compatibility entries — birth data for people you add for compatibility readings.
- Mood log entries — daily mood ratings you record within the App.
- Journal entries — text you write in the App's journaling feature (Premium subscribers).
All of this information is stored exclusively on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
MyAstralys does not require you to create an account. We do not collect:
- Your name or email address
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Crash reports or diagnostics sent to our servers
3. Third-Party Services
MyAstralys does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Your activity within the App is not shared with any outside service.
Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. Massive Mushroom never receives or stores your payment information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle payment data.
4. Data Export
Premium subscribers can export their journal entries directly from the App. Exported files are saved to your device and are fully under your control. We do not receive copies of exported data.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Because all data is stored on your device, you are in full control at all times. You can delete your data by clearing the App's data in your iPhone Settings or by uninstalling the App. Uninstalling MyAstralys will permanently remove all associated data from your device.
6. Children's Privacy
MyAstralys is intended primarily for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since no data is transmitted from the App, there is no risk of us inadvertently collecting a child's information through our servers. Parents or guardians with questions are welcome to contact us.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Because we do not collect or store any personal data on our end, there is no data held by Massive Mushroom for us to provide, correct, or delete on your behalf. All data you enter into the App resides solely on your device and is governed entirely by you.
If you are a resident of California or another state with applicable privacy laws, these rights still apply to any future data practices we may adopt. We will update this policy accordingly if our practices change.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of MyAstralys after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
